History of KOAR Dynamics

It started with over 10 years of experience working in the hotel industry that 100% customer satisfaction is the best way to keep a happy guest coming back. If there were any issues, you fix it, no questions asked, no policy preventing the right solution. There was a simple formula to give a high quality product that is better than the competition along with superior service that understands and cares about the guests.

After years in hospitality, a career change was needed as I was only going sideways and never up far enough. I got an internship at a web company in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was a great opportunity to start a new career in programming and I was exicted for the change. I have always had a talent for problem solving so while learning something totally new took some time, I eventually excelled. Building basic websites, managing Google Adwords accounts, and quickly after only a few years I was the Director of Operations for a team of two designers, six developers and working with both sales teams to manage budgets and client expectations.

I was able to combine my skills from hospitality management and now daily operations in web development to increase productivity to the highest level. I understood our clients and what they wanted even if they couldn't verbalise it. I was able to manage our team to maximize effiency while also caring about them as a person and figuring out how to balance budget and morale. While the company was making record sales year over year, I was under appreciated and drastically underpaid so I decided to start a company where I could offer services that I believed clients wanted without the nickel and dime practices that felt predatory.

KOAR Dynamics was started over 11 years ago to bring a product that exceeds expecations with the ability to offer services that other companies just don't have the ability to do. All of our websites are built using Ruby on Rails as our framework and utilizing the power of server-side code to build the fastest and most efficient web applications possible with zero restrictions unlike other platforms.
